OUR EXPERIENCE

Although Col-lab is rather young (created in 2017), it is the result of academic and policy research combined with practice in more than a hundred projects in a large number of countries, from some of the poorest and most remote areas of the world to highly developed cities and sectors. The following are some examples of Col-lab projects: 

1. Promoting sustainable development through cooperation with the United Nations for GIZ (2024-2026)

2. Col-lab and ESADEgeo workshop: Public and Private opportunities through the EU Global Gateway strategy” (2024)

3. Training workshop “Learning to optimize the use of Networks in Development cooperation” for the Goethe Institute (2023)

4. Technical Assistance to FIIAPP in the context of the program COPOLAD III, to develop a conceptual and methodological evaluation of the impact of policies of drugs across the different dimensions of sustainable development, with Agenda 2030 as a reference. (2023)

5. Part of the team elaborating the study “The Global Gateway: governance and implementation strategy for the European Parliament (2022-2023)

6. Final Review of the multi-country MATRA programme (strengthening democratic governance and rule of law in Southeast and Eastern Europe) for the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (2022)

7. Final Evaluation of the Capacity Building Program ATI-NITA and Communication and Visibility for the European Union Delegation in Nicaragua (2022)

8. Training to DT Global staff: “EU Development Cooperation at a Glance”, including new trends in international cooperation, policy priorities, actors and instrument. (2022)

9. Support to the EU-Botswana Policy Dialogue Facility (2022-2023)

10. Supporting the production of the compendium, storytelling and thematic analysis (Green Deal, public services and education and employment) of cross border cooperation in Europe through the b-solutions initiative (2021)

11. Facilitation and production of the document/proposal to position the Spanish Diplomatic Academy at the center of the ecosystem of external action (2021)

12. Member of the Consortia implementing the EU Funded Policy Forum on Development during the period 2021-2024.

13. Reflection-Analysis for the European Union about how to maximize the transformative impact of the European Union Regional Cooperation in Central America in the period 2021-2027.

14. Conducting the Final Evaluation of the project “Support to activities of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (2018-2020)”

15. Supporting the systematization of Adelante, a pioneer EU Funded initiative on Triangular Cooperation between the EU and Latina America and Caribbean countries (2020)

16. Advising ENABEL in the elaboration of their new donor diversification strategy (2019-2020); 

17. Member of the Consortia which will provide the European Parliament with foreign policy expertise to the during the new term 2019-2024

18. Assisting FIIAPP with the review of the intervention guide of Eurosocial+ and with methodological support to conduct policy dialogues at country level (EU-Latin America);(2017-2018)

19. Conducting the midterm evaluation of the multi-country MATRA programme (strengthening democratic governance and rule of law in Southeast and Eastern Europe) for the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (2019)

20. Supporting FIIAPP with the integration and implementation of goal-oriented policy dialogues in the EU funded Euroclima+ (EU-Latin America);(2019)

21. Contributing with content, analysis and facilitation to the Policy Forum on Development, a GIZ implemented/EU funded multi-stakeholder platform; (2017-2019)

22. On-going contribution to the debate about relevant aspects of the global agenda through different media outlets, universities and think tanks such as EL País, ESADEgeo and Instituto Elcano.
