I am a Colombian/Spanish sociologist and PhD in international relations, with over 20 years of professional experience, mostly in the area of Development policy. During these years I have worked as a consultant in many countries, mainly in Latin America and Europe, specialised in project design and evaluation, and as policy advisor for different international organization and governments, as well as for Spanish think-tanks and research centres. 

Moreover, since 2011 I am a lecturer in sociology of development at the Complutense University of Madrid. My specialization areas are methodological research design, international policy for development, security, and financing for development. 

My papers and articles have been published in different international reviews, books and newspapers. I frequently participate as speaker in international workshops and seminars.
